Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Hybrid Propulsion System Recall

Chrysler has announced that 1375 vehicles have been affected by a Hybrid Propulsion System recall.

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicles (PHEV). The affected vehicles have diodes in the Power Inverter Module (PIM") that may fail due to an overvoltage condition. If the diodes fail

Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Recall Hybrid Propulsion System

Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the Powertrain Control Module, Battery Pack Control Module, On Board Charging Module, and PIM, free of charge. The PIM will be replaced as necessary. Remedy parts are currently unavailable. Interim notifications informing owners of the safety risk were mailed July 28, 2017. Owners will receive a second notice when the remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is T34.
